CBD AND ME

I’ve been using CBD products to deal with a lot of stress (physical and mental) through the past couple months. Also, when Phillie was alive, they helped her arthritis pain and anxiety significantly – keeping her comfortable and happy. They’re been very useful for me as well. So, through my mission of relaying joy, love, and enrichment – knowing this has brought me joy, I’m relaying the information and opportunity.

Below, I’ve ripped some of the information that Elemental CBD has published. They’ve asked me to be an ambassador and I was happy to oblige. So, in full transparency, if you use the code JK10 , you’ll get 10% off your orders, and I’ll get a kick-back. It’s not paying the bills, but because it’s been so beneficial for me, I want to share it with you.

Here is some in-depth information on the why, how, what of CBD:

“Cannabidiol, abbreviated as CBD, is one of over 100 plus phytocannabinoids that naturally occur in the cannabis sativa (hemp variety) plant. It is a non-psychoactive (intoxicating) cannabinoid that interacts with the receptors of the endocannabinoid system (ECS) in human and animal bodies.

Cannabinoids from plants are called phytocannabinoids and they can either directly or indirectly interact with the receptors of the ECS, which regulates vital functions of the body, such as: sleep cycles, appetite, pain response, inflammation response and more. The ECS keeps these functions in homeostasis (healthy balance).”

Full Spectrum CBD is created through full plant extraction. It contains all of the hemp-derived cannabinoids, including the trace amount of 0.3% THC, and all plant terpenes, flavonoids, vitamins, minerals, and plant proteins. These all work together synergistically to provide optimum benefit.

Broad Spectrum CBD is created by taking the full spectrum CBD and extracting all of the THC. This allows you to have the benefit of the whole plant CBD oil without the THC.

Isolate CBD is created by removing all molecules (compounds) from the full spectrum extract except the CBD. All that remains is a crystal or white powder ‘Pure”
CBD. Isolate does not provide the same benefits as the whole plant spectrum of CBD oil.”

“Your metabolism and other aspects of your body profile along with the method of delivery of the CBD will determine how long until you feel the effects.

When you take CBD tincture under your tongue, it absorbs quickly into the bloodstream because it bypasses the digestive system. Typically, you will feel the effects in as short as 15 minutes.

Other delivery methods, such as capsules and gummies can take longer; however, when ingesting CBD it has been shown to often work faster if you have eaten a very small amount of light food. These methods can take up to 30 minutes or an hour.”

“Starting with small doses of CBD and slowly increasing it, if necessary, is the best way to start. Typically we recommend between 10 to 30 mg of Elemental CBD to start. Everyone’s body and response is different, therefore start slow and see how it goes!”

“CBD is non-intoxicating or non-psychoactive. Elemental CBD products are also broad-spectrum with zero THC, which means that you won’t get high!”

“Although CBD products are great for helping you sleep, it does not necessarily make you sleepy.

It does have a relaxing and calming effect and when taken in a very small dose about a half hour before going to sleep, it has been shown to help with regulating the sleep cycle in both the short and long term.”

Endocannabinoid System 101

The key to understanding the way cannabinoids, like CBD, interact in the human body requires a quick Endocanabinoid System 101 course! Actually, the entire discovery of the endocannabinoid system (ECS) was due to the research on the cannabis plant. The ECS was actually unknown until in the 1990’s research revealed that the human body produced it’s own cannabinoids called endogenous cannabinoids or endocannibinoids. This was the beginning of identifying this vast biological regulatory system that is present throughout human and mammalian bodies.

The Role of Receptors and The Enocannabinoid System

The endocannabinoid compounds, produced by the body, activate receptors found on the surface of cells in the brain, organs, tissues, glands, muscle and skeletal systems and the immune system.  The ECS performs various and unique roles, depending on the location in the body: however, the overall and ultimate goal of the ECS is to bring the body to balance, or homeostasis, regardless of environmental and external disturbances.

Cannabinoids stimulate the receptors on the cells and produce various reactions, depending on the location of the cells and receptors. Cannabinoids come from two sources: either naturally produced by the body (endocannabinoids) or from the cannabis sativa and hemp plants (phytocannabinoids). The many benefits of the phytocannabinoid CBD, for instance, are a direct result of this receptor stimulation and interactions throughout the ECS.

CBD, The Endocannabinoid System and Receptors In The Brain

As an example, let’s look at the serotonin receptor known as 5-HT1A found in various areas of the brain. It is densely present in the cerebral cortex, hippocampus and amygdale, all heavily involved in mood, anxiety and depression disorders. When a high concentration of CBD oil is ingested it activates the 5-HT1A receptor and produces an inhibitory response so that the receptor does not slow down or stop the serotonin production. In this way, CBD provides help with anxiety, mood, sleep and other areas of well being associated with the serotonin pathway.

The Endocannabinoid System, Phytocannabinoids and Optimum Health

Ongoing research into the endocannabinoid system and the role of phytocannabinoids demonstrates the essential role that broad spectrum CBD can provide. A fully functional endocannabinoid system is the key to maintaining your health in an increasingly challenging external environment. Is there a way to strengthen and support your ECS? It now seems that the answer is “yes’!

By taking regular small doses of broad spectrum CBD you can stimulate an increased production of the body’s endocannabinoids and receptors. This supplementation can provide an enhancement to the natural functionality of your endocannabinoid system to serve as a preventative to potential disease and promotion of optimum health.

In the case of CBD, it has been demonstrated that small doses, taken over time, have greater effects. As the phytocannabinoids accumulate in the body, due to regular doses, you also can benefit from what is called the ‘entourage effect’: which is the synergistic interaction of the broad spectrum of phytocannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids and other beneficial compounds in the cannabis sativa or hemp plants.”

“Not all CBD oil is equal in quality and effectiveness. From seed to extract: the quality of hemp seed, the farming practices and the processing or extraction process determines the end quality and potency of the CBD Oil Extract. CBD rich hemp plants and organic farming practices are the first foundation of a quality product. Once the hemp is harvested, the next step is processing. Let’s take a look at how CBD oil is made, the various methods of extraction, what the differences in methods are and why it matters.

The Two Top Extraction Methods

Although there are several ways to extract oil from the hemp plant, using neurotoxic solvents like butane and hexane are the least desirable. They can possibly leave residue that compromises the effectiveness and safety of the extract. For this reason, quality CBD processing has two top extraction methods:

Supercritical CO2 Extraction: This extraction method is referred to as ‘supercritical’ because it references the point at which CO2 simultaneously has the properties of a gas and a liquid. By using highly specialized equipment, the CO2 is cooled below- 69 degrees F and put under high pressure (75 psi), which creates a supercritical state.

At this ‘critical’ point, a container/chamber containing the plant material is filled with this CO2 where the plant compounds (trichomes and terpenes) dissolve into the carbon dioxide. Then, the CO2 goes through a separator and CBD oil is what is left.

Although this extraction method requires expensive equipment, it has the advantage of being able to selectively extract specific compounds and allows for both purity of the cannabinoids and flavor.

Ethanol Extraction: The most typical way of using this process is to heat the plant material to achieve what is known as decarboxylation and then soaking the material in ethanol. After soaking for a period of time the liquid is filtered from the plant material. Then the liquid is left in the open and the ethanol is allowed to evaporate.

Because ethanol is a plant based solvent, many processors believe it maintains the natural chemical ratios of the plant. Although, there are pros and cons to this extraction method, it does produce a high volume of full spectrum hemp extract.

Proprietary Extraction Methods

Some quality CBD products like Elemental CBD Extract are processed through what is known as a proprietary process that produces Phytocannabinoid-Rich Hemp Oil by two separate processes.

The first process is supercritical CO2, which produces an extract that is rich in terpenes, cannabinoid (CBD) and other phytocannabinoids. Then this extract undergoes ‘winterization’ in ethanol, after which the solvent is removed through vacuum distillation. This removes the chlorophyll, waxes and THC. This results in what is known as a PCR (Phytocannabinoid Rich) hemp extract with 70-90% CBD, minor cannabinoids and terpenes.

This proprietary processing produces a PCR broad spectrum CBD extract that delivers the optimum benefits with zero THC content. This means you can have the full spectrum of benefits without the risk of THC. This is a great solution for children, pets and anyone that is subject to drug testing or has THC sensitivity.”

“When it comes to finding your personal optimum dose of CBD, there are many factors at play. Although there are general suggested guidelines of CBD Oil dosage for various conditions: your general health, weight, genetics and the quality and potency of the CBD product must be considered. The good news is CBD is non-toxic and you do not have to worry about overdose. Let’s sort out the details so that you can find the dosage of CBD that will work best for you!

Basic Body Evaluation
The first part of finding your optimum personal dosage of CBD is to take a quick evaluation of your physical profile. This means:

* Your Weight
* Your basic metabolism (Slow VS Fast)
* Your diet (Be honest here. Healthy= Meat, Veggies, Fruits VS Junk Food)
* The condition you want to treat (anxiety, pain, inflammation, depression, etc.)
* The severity of your condition

You might want to start a little notebook and jot down this profile when you begin because all of the above can change with time and CBD treatment. It might also serve as a progress chart, down the road!

CBD Product Evaluation
There are many CBD products on the market and as with any products, some are higher quality than others. In addition, there is a big difference between extraction methods, such as, broad spectrum CBD and CBD isolate. Both have zero THC yet that is where the similarity ends.

CBD isolate is the complete extraction of the phytocannabinoid compound CBD (cannabidiol) from the hemp plant. It is extracted down to ‘pure CBD’. All other beneficial compounds of the hemp plant have been removed.

PCR or Phytocannabinoid Rich Broad Spectrum CBD oil is extracted leaving the complete spectrum of all of the beneficial cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, essential vitamins, fatty acids and fiber. However, all THC is removed, therefore you have the advantage of the full spectrum without the psychoactive component. This gives you the maximum benefit without the risk.

The Main Key To Dosing CBD
Most high quality PCR Broad Spectrum products have dosing recommendations. It will also depend on the concentration of CBD.
For instance if a one ounce bottle of tincture has 250 mg. of CBD, and the recommended dosage is 1-4 droppers, start with a small dosage of 1 dropper per day. However, the key to finding what works best for you is to start with a small dosage and slowly increase it until you reach a level that feels right.

Another consideration is that CBD has a cumulative effect in the body. This means that over time, CBD brings the body to balance and you might experience added benefits above and beyond your initial reason for trying it!

When it comes to CBD, less is more, so take your time and enjoy the journey to finding your personal optimum dose. Stay flexible and be willing to make adjustments along the way.”

  3. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Mastering the Volley in Pickleball Pickleball is rapidly gaining popularity across
the globe, and the game's success largely
depends on good technique and swift reflexes.

One of the most fundamental skills that every pickleball player must learn is the volley, which involves hitting
the ball mid-air before it bounces on the court. The volley is a critical aspect of the game that can create multiple opportunities for winning a point, especially if you
are playing a game in a team.

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced player, mastering the volley is crucial to winning points and
improving your overall performance in the game.
This article will provide you with a detailed analysis
of the volley shot in pickleball, including its technical aspects, basic strategy, and how to perfect the
    shot.

    Understanding the Technical Aspects of
the Volley Shot Before diving deeper into mastering the volley shot, it
is essential to understand its technical elements. When playing a volley shot, it is
essential to: Square your body – your feet,
shoulders, and hips should face the net to comfortably take the shot.
Keep your paddle up in front of your body, not below, as it's easier
to hit the ball when the paddle angle is parallel to the ground.
Maintain a firm grip on your paddle while keeping your wrist relaxed.

Use a pushing motion to hit the ball.

Your paddle should travel forward, aiming to hit the ball with a flat
face. Follow through with your shot, letting your paddle continue its forward motion after making contact
with the ball. Basic Strategy for Mastering the Volley Shot Mastering the volley shot requires more than just knowing the technical elements of
the shot, it's about understanding the strategy behind the
    shot.

Some essential tips to improve your volley shots are:
Always be ready to move forward; if your opponent
hits a soft shot, move forward and take advantage of the position to volley.
If you are struggling with volleys, start practicing with a partner
and gradually increase the pace of the ball. Always try to hit the
ball back into the opponent's non-volley zone (the seven-foot area just beyond the net).
Practice volleys with a variety of strokes, including backhand and forehand, and also try to
vary the ball's speed, position, and spin.
    Perfecting the Volley Shot Now,
with all the tips and tricks in mind, how
can you master the art of the volley shot?

Here are some practical ways mentioned below:
Focus on your stance and body position. Try
to maintain proper technique while keeping your body aligned and balanced.

Focus on squaring your body toward the net. Practice regularly with a reliable partner or coach to
    improve your volleys.
Having a partner who can feed you balls of varying speed and direction will prepare you for real match
situations. Take the time to understand your paddle,
its weight, size, and shape. Your grip and grip size also play an essential role in your volley shots.

Make sure you are comfortable with your paddle. Benefits of the Volley in Pickleball 1.

Increased Control and Accuracy: When playing pickleball,
control, and accuracy are crucial. The volley is an excellent way to achieve both goals.

By hitting the ball before it bounces, you can more accurately place it where you want it
to go. This level of control allows you to make strategic shots, such
as hitting it away from your opponent to create a larger gap on the court.
    2. Saves Time and Energy: Hitting the ball earlier in the air means less time spent running around and
    chasing the ball.

By mastering the volley, you can save time and energy by taking control of the point instead of letting
it drag on with multiple bounces and rallies. This newfound control can feel
empowering, and it leads to better stamina as you play longer and
    more demanding matches.
    3. Disrupts Opponent's Momentum: Returning
the ball with a volley can disrupt your opponent's rhythm
and momentum. A volley is such a quick and precise hit that it
can often catch them off guard. This can throw off their
timing and cause them to make mistakes or play defensively.

As a result, you can take control of the match, keeping them on the defensive and forcing them into playing the shots
you want them to. 4. Increased Offensive Potential: The volley is also an excellent offensive weapon in pickleball.
By hitting the ball early and taking control of the point,
you can start pushing your opponent around the court
and making them play on your terms.

Aggressive volleying can also help you put pressure
on your opponent to make mistakes and keep them on the back foot, thus increasing
your chances of winning. 5. More Matches Won: Simply put,
mastering the volley will lead to you winning more matches.

Every point you win with a volley is a point that you have controlled from the start.

This level of control leads to increased confidence, which can translate into better
performance overall, and more matches won as a result. Conclusion: Mastering the volley in pickleball is more than just
hitting the ball before it touches the court.

It's about understanding the technical aspects of the shot, knowing the basic strategies to employ, and consistently practicing to perfect
the shot. Ensure you take the time to master every point mentioned before and
practice regularly to improve your overall game skills.

Not only will you improve your game, but you will also enjoy the game more when you execute smooth volleys
and win points. Johaan Vick is the having to much experience in pickleball.

  5. Beware when considering doing business with Antonio T,
who has operated under two business names: Arts General Contracting, LLC and
Arts General Contracting LLC on HomeAdvisor.

Arts General Contracting, LLC, based in Arlington, TX, was formed in 2021 but has since forfeited its existence as of 2023.
Antonio T also operated a business under the same
name on HomeAdvisor, with an address in Naples, FL, offering work in general contracting, remodeling, and maintenance.

However, feedback on HomeAdvisor raise some concerns. The business had a rating
of 3.9 based on 4 verified reviews. One particularly alarming review
claimed that Antonio T was a scammer, alleging that
his work caused around $15,000 in damages. The customer
also claimed to have paid Antonio T $4000 and was unable to
get in contact with him afterward.

So, potential customers should exercise caution when considering doing business with
Antonio T or any of his associated businesses.
Always ensure to completely research any company and its reviews before entering in business.
